Binita, Patient Liaison
In her role at the practice, Binita enjoys being a part of our happy and professional environment, a place where our team look forward to coming to work and where patients can be made to feel cared for, comfortable and listened to. She also enjoys being able to make a positive difference.

Education and Experience
A hospital pharmacist by trade, Binita qualified in the UK with a Master of Pharmacy, and worked at a hospital in Melbourne. To ensure that her skills are kept up to date, she regularly takes courses and undergoes training. Binita has also completed The Momentum program in Dental Management and Practice Excellence.
Outside of Work
When she’s not at the practice, Binita enjoys spending time with Ajay and their young family. Local to the neighbourhood, they are involved in various sporting activities including the Ashy Redbacks and Waverley and Ashy basketball league. They also enjoy bike riding as a family along the local paths. Binita also loves to cook and do Zumba.
Mary-anne, Dental Assistant
My favourite aspect of my job is getting to know our patients, and making them feel welcome and relaxed while visiting us.
A highlight of Mary-anne’s day is when children come in and ask, “Can I come back tomorrow?” That is a compliment that she hears often! She also finds it fulfilling to work with the professional and diligent team at Cambridge Dental.
Education
Mary-anne possesses a Bachelor of Applied Science (Nursing) and a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. She became interested in dentistry as she loves the hands-on approach and always had a keen interest in oral health.
Family and Hobbies
When she’s not at the practice, Mary-anne enjoys embracing family and friends with her master chef skills, ticking off adventurous travel destinations from her bucket list, and keeping fit and healthy. She also loves spending time with her husband and daughter and her sweet little dog Lucky.
Kim, Front Desk Team Member
Kim is a very experienced member of our practice who was drawn into dentistry through her love of interacting with people and working in a great team environment. She really enjoys that each day is very different and we don’t know what to expect at the beginning of our day.
The most fulfilling aspect of being a team member here at Cambridge Dental is our wonderful patients and that I work in a professional and caring team to ensure our patient’s needs are met with respect, honesty, care and dignity.”
Education and Experience
Kim has been involved with RMIT and the Dental Assisting Program since 2011. “Now as a sessional teacher, I enjoy teaching trainee dental assistants entering this field and seeing them achieve their individual goals in this fascinating industry.” Kim has completed a number of professional courses in her field:
- Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital Dental Nursing Certificate
- Australian Dental Association Dental Assisting Certificate
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Adult Language, Literacy & Numeracy
- Certificate IV in Health Administration
- Certificate III in Education-Literacy Stream
She also completed a Momentum Management Course, which helps her with the smooth running of the practice.
Enjoying an Active Life
Away from the office, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending live theatre, walking her two dogs, gardening, reading crime novels and planning her next holiday. She also cares for her granddaughter two days a week which brings her much joy.
Jodie, Dental Assistant
In her role at the practice, Jodie is passionate about ensuring that patients are well looked after. Kind and caring, she always helps patients to feel comfortable and enjoys providing dental care that helps produce healthy smiles.
Education and Experience
Jodie possesses a Certificate III in Dental Assisting and a Community Coaching Certificate. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree.
Enjoying an Active Life
Outside the office, Jodie enjoys playing basketball and footy, adventuring, travelling and socialising.
